Join Us. We are Supporting You. Supporting Each Other.
With the help of contributors like you, we can continue to educate people about these rare disorders, support the people they affect and advance research to find better treatments. You have many ways to make a gift to support the vital work we do at the NFED.
Without this (NFED Facebook) page, their staff and organization in general we would still be flailing on how to manage Jameson’s disease. Please check their page frequently and donate to a wonderful cause. – Sheila

Become a Smile Maker when you support the NFED with a recurring donation each month. The Monthly Giving Program makes donating easy and enables you to give in a bigger way.
Impact Cures, Now! Campaign for Ectodermal Dysplasias Research
You can choose to designate your gift to our Impact Cures, Now! campaign. Funds will support our efforts to be a catalyst for new research and to continue to support ongoing research projects for XLHED and AEC syndrome.
Double your donation! Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Some provide matching funds to support employee volunteer hours. Most of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar, and some will even double or triple the amount of your gift.
Check with your employer if they match donations or volunteer hours. If so, ask for the Matching Gift form and return it with your donation. Your personal gift and matched contribution will be credited to the program or event that you designated.
A planned gift through a bequest, insurance contribution, retirement asset, annuity, donor-advised fund or irrevocable/revocable trust is an option that could give you and your family financial and tax benefits, while helping impact NFED programming for years to come. Learn more about building your legacy. Please contact Tim to create a plan that works for you.
The Halloween Bash is our annual online fundraiser that gives you the opportunity to donate, place an ad with your personalized message in an online journal or bid on wonderful auction items. It is hosted by Ruth and Keith Geismar and held in each October. Learn more about how you can participate in this virtual event that has now raised more than $4 million for the Foundation.
You may also give non-cash gifts in the form of stocks, securities, real estate or other gifts in kind. Because non-cash gifts require additional paperwork, review and approvals, we encourage donors to contact their financial advisors and Tim at the NFED when considering a non-cash contribution.
We also always need office supplies, giveaway items that help our NFED families, new air conditioners, cooling vests, free dental and medical evaluations for affected individuals, and supplies for Kays’ Kids and Teens Camps.
Honorary or Memorial Gifts
Commemorate a birthday, anniversary, special occasion, or celebrate a holiday with a gift that helps the ectodermal dysplasias community. You can pay tribute to a valued family member or friend with an honorary gift.
We also receive donations in memory of NFED friends whom we have lost. These gifts are a thoughtful way to remember a loved one, while supporting an area of importance to them. Your honorary or memorial gift can be made anytime either by mail, online or phone. Please indicate who the gift honors or memorializes at that time and if you would like us to send a notification of your gift to a family member or to the individual.
