Volunteer spotlight

This month, we thank four volunteers for their years of service and dedication to our Board of Directors (BOD). Three of them have served 10 or more years. They helped lead the National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasias (NFED) through the transition after our founder, Mary K. Richter, retired in 2010.

Serving on a Board requires an enormous amount of time. This can be difficult for busy professionals who are active in their careers and family life. Therefore, we are especially grateful for their time and their willingness to serve. We thank Liz Arro, C.P.A., David Freestone, M.D., John Stith, M.D. and Anil Vora.

While Anil’s Board term continues, he is ending his service as the President after many years.

Anil has done a tremendous job as our Board President. We especially appreciate his efforts to organize our financials and implement a better budget process. He always leads with a focus on our mission. We thank him for his leadership! – Mary Fete, NFED Executive Director.

We value your time, ideas, recommendations, leadership, hard work, and your continuous input. Thank you for bringing your passion, skills, knowledge, insight, experience and resources to the table as well.
