The National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasias (NFED) has had a breakthrough year from launching Advocacy Day to funding research projects that are on the brink of life-changing treatments and cures. We cannot do this without our donors and volunteers. Thanks to all of you who give your hard-earned money and time to the NFED!
The NFED is a small but mighty non-profit organization. Our staff works nonstop to bring our community life-changing services and information to help improve their lives. We do this on a budget of less than a million dollars. When we say every donation counts, we really mean it. We assure you that 82 cents of every dollar we receive goes directly to programming.
Over 60% of our funding comes from NFED families who either donate or host family events. We do not receive any government funding. You truly help others with your donation. As the year comes to a close, we encourage you to speak to your employer about a gift to the NFED and/or for you to get in touch with our office to submit a stock transfer so that you get a charitable tax-deduction for 2017.

Stock Gifts
The end of the year is also when many people make stock gifts. This kind of contribution requires additional paperwork, so please contact us at info@nfed.org or (618) 566-2020 to receive information about transferring stock to the NFED.
